"Kings and Toys" and British Transport Police

I've emailed BTP - kept the email short and simple... I think they'll be ok with arranging an interview because they've got a section dedicated to the media which is open to public discussion. Hopefully they'll reply soon...

One of the tasks was to watch a graffiti based documentary. I watched "Kings and Toys" (from Youtube) and the following are comments that i found interesting:

- Graffiti terms such as "tags, dubs" are explained so that the audience know what the artists are talking about if they use them during their interviews.

-The narrative is told through interviews only - this is something we will think about doing because it means that the actual artists talk about their passion, having a narrator do this job would compromise on its authenticity.

- The documentary is split under categories. They are the following: Tags, fame, respect, trains and consequences... This is helpful for the audience because it ensures that the documentary is following a logical order but also so that the audience know what to expect under each category.

- Identity of the artists are concealed using a VARIETY of methods; just showing the mouth, back of their heads during an interview and just focusing on the body language (ie hands).

- Music is played throughout the documentary but is made upbeat at certain times where certain points are empathised.
