The artists at Elms Lesters Painting Gallery:

* ADAM NEATE
Neate is an interesting artist to look at for our documentary becuase his graffiti is done relatively close to us - in Feltham, yet he has recieved fame for his work. Below are pictures of his graffiti;

Done in Feltham

Twickenham Swimming Baths Graffiti

Twickenham swimming baths have been closed for over a decade while wrangling goes on over what the site should be. In the meantime graffiti artists and nature have moved in.

Feltham Circles, West London

Recogniton at last... - The bus board states; "Does he create art or is it merely litter?"

The other artist that would be great for our documentary is WK INTERACT becuase his work is similar to Banksy's... and it's easily distnguishable. Two exmaples of his work are posted below:

The exhibiton website describes the artist's THAT WE NEED as...
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
ADAM NEATE: Possibly Britain's most exciting emerging contemporary artist, Adam's work is being snapped up by serious collectors and institutions alike, and fans feverishly follow his work on scores of independent internet blogs. Famous for leaving his trademark cardboard paintings on the street, Adam's work is an extraordinary mix of cubism, surrealism and expressionism. This exhibition will also see the release of the first in a series of three limited edition giclee prints by ADAM NEATE produced by Elms Lesters Painting Rooms.

ANTHONY LISTER : Australian born artist now living in New York, ANTHONY LISTER's work draws references from cartoons and comics, and his experiences in the world of graffiti and street art. Society's underbelly inspires the work of Anthony Lister, focusing on people who are down on their luck, convicted criminals, and the daily grind. Whilst his subject matter is often uncomfortable, Lister's work has a fragile quality; faint lines, detritus and subtle pop-art statements. He has exhibited widely both in Australasia, Europe and America, as well as recently undertaking a research residency in Berlin.

WK INTERACT : Frenchman and New York resident WK INTERACT is instantly recognisable. During the last fifteen years he has decorated whole tracks of the New York's SoHo district with his explosive, dynamic and energetic figures, which appear as if they are permanently on the move; pushing, stumbling, running. His work has been exhibited internationally from America, England and France to Japan and Hong Kong. aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
